  • "activeTab" & "scripting": Used solely to interact with the YouTube video player (HTML5 Video Element) on the tab you are currently viewing. This allows us to change playback speed, volume, and button states locally in your browser.
  • "Host Permission (://.youtube.com/*)": Required to detect when you navigate between videos so that your speed settings can be preserved.

4. Data Storage

All preferences (such as your last used speed or loop settings) are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local API. This data never leaves your browser.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties. The extension operates entirely client-side.
